  • Create awareness of an issue etc.
  • Create interest in the product or issue
  • Generate desire to buy or use product. 
The four p's-
  1. Price 
  2. Production 
  3. product
  4. placement 
Unique selling point-
marketing involves identifying the USP of median text what makes it sellable


Structural Features Of Adverts:

Copy,  slogan, logo, Central Image, Typography, Brand Identify.

Analysing an Advert:

  1. Aim of the print advert
  2. denotation and connotation 
  3. media language- camera, mise en sence, editing and typography.
  4. Representation of males/females
  5. Representation of Themes
  6. Representation of the brand 
  7. Psychology- which humans needs is it satisfying
